Practicing gratitude, positive thinking and positive affirmation makes it easier to withstand hard times.
Be in an environment that encourages positive feelings.

Writing down three things in your life that you are most grateful for every day is a daily reminder of the reasons to be grateful; It promotes feelings of optimism about the future. 
Smile often and think happy thoughts, when you think happy things, you tend to be in a good mood.
Do not give up easily, people who smile often, enjoy the little things in life.
Be encouraged, nothing in life is static, it gets better.
